Are your programs open to people of any Christian denomination?
Yes. Our company is a Christian faith-based organization and follows the teachings of Jesus Christ.
May I take any of the Christian Coach Institute courses if I have no previous experience?
Our core program is the Certified Christian Life Coach (CCLC) program and the pre-requisite is a heart for coaching. This is a pre-requisite to the Certified Faith and Health Coach (CFHC) and our Master Christian Life Coach programs.
We also offer the stand alone Certified Human Behavior Consultant program for those interested in a revenue stream using DISC assessments. This program is offered in two formats, one for a secular audience (good for non-faith based corporate training) and another for faith-based organizations that includes both DISC and Spiritual Gifts assessments.
Is Christian Coach Institute an accredited organization?
We are fully licensed by the IAC to teach the IAC Coaching Masteries which are internationally recognized professional coaching skills, and are in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. Our graduates have the opportunity to become a Certified Christian Life Coach, and use the CCLC designation upon successful completion of the program and passing all certification requirements.
Do you offer payment plans, online and phone payment options?
Yes
Will I have an instructor to help me with understanding everything?
Yes
Am I required to sign a contract?
No! We are 100% confident in our program and do not ask for signed contracts.
Can I enroll anytime?
Yes
Do I need to be over 18 years old to enroll?
Yes
Am I required to hire a personal life coach during the course?
No. Our program is all inclusive. We include group training with personal one-on-one coaching with a Master Coach and Trainer. We feel this provides our students with a cost savings right up front. Working with a personal coach outside the course can add about $300 (and more) per month which would add on another $1200 for the 4 month period. We are sensitive to the global economic situation and understand the additional cost associated with personal coaching can be difficult. Of course, if you want to hire a coach during your course, you are encouraged to do what is best for your spiritual, personal and professional development.
If I have limited access to the internet, can I still enroll?
Yes
Will you teach me to use the internet to build my life coaching business?
Yes
Will I be able to speak with other students?
Yes
Will you give me on-going support once I graduate?
Yes. Upon successful completion of the CCLC program, you are a member of our Coach Directory and ongoing coaching niche teams for support and community.
How will my life improve as I take this course?
You have the opportunity to experience personal, spiritual and professional growth during the 16 week program.
Do I get to practice what I learn?
Yes, you will have an opportunity to practice coaching skills in a safe and observed environment with your Coach Trainer and with a peer coach outside the classroom. Part of the certification process is to ensure you have learned the core coaching competencies and we work with you one-on-one to build confidence as well as incorporate a skill practice in our weekly webinars. A Student Coaching Practicum is part of the certification process and we are committed to ensure your success.
